Re: hey peeps
not too many plans really ive done nearly everything i wanted to! this is the spec so far
1969 1300
engine now fully rebuilt now 1641cc polished and ported 044 heads, forged pistons and barrels, engle cam, uprated rockers, webber twin choke carb and a few shiney bits.
bodywise its stock as it left the factory in 1969 90% original paint with added rust
suspension has taken the most time!
rear has been lowered 3 outer splines (silly) wich means i had to put shorter shocks on, remove bump stops completely, remove rear antiroll bar pointless thig, remove my performance exhaust and put standard back on due to ground clearance and notch the rear spring plates- basically cutting them because the hit the chassis and also modify heat exchangers as the axles were hitting.
front axle has been narrowed by 4" so it can go that low and still turn. also steering arms had to be shortened, steering box moved and adjusters welded in.
its got extra travel ball joints as standard ones maxed out. 2.5" dropped spindles and 135/15 tyres
the headlight bowls have had to be cut out as the tyres were hitting them
the only plans i have is to get it lower for 2009 show season
