good and bad news oops

on thursday me and my mate whent down to norfolk to get my missus her new car she got a bargain on a 1.6 colt mirage all whent well it handeled well looked nice and generaly just a great little car. so good news for her
then saturday night came and i took it out for a little spin with my mate who is looking at getting a colt. whent round a bend that wasnt even sharp just a little steddy bend but it has a dip in the road there so hit it think there was ever a bit of frost or even oil as its in front of a farm so started going round the corner and it whent to far ended up doing a 180 turn and rear end into a bush and a ditch. bad news me and my mate got out unscraped the car though fortunatly not a write off but i have smashed the rear light bust the bumper ripped the side skirt off and it needs a bit of panel pulling.
so as expected i was in the dog house but thankfully she forgive me and its getting sorted. but it couldnt have come at the wrong time i have no job and she only had it two dys

Not so good news there m8, sorry to hear it. So you literally did take it for a spin! lol i never use that term now incase i jinx myself lol!

ye it guess i did do lol. she is laughing and joking about it so that ok. just been out in mine and everything has ade me jump. never been in an accident and it was terifying. as i was only going about less than a mile i never had a seat belt on so it could of been a lot worse. gona get some pics of it soon even though it is damaged lol hopefuly have it back on road this week

Well glad your ok m8! As you said, could hav been alot worse! but shows that alot can happen in 1 mile! Hope its fixed soon! Glad your not in the dog house ne more mate!

Glad you're ok, sounds like it was lucky you went in the ditch backwards if you didn't have your seatbelt on!

ive got the lights sorted. idealy needs a new bumper but she aint bovered about that at the moment and its booked into a body shop on wednesday and we pick it up on friday night. something i could do without spending on at the moment lol

Sounds like a pain in the backside! At least no one was hurt. She should think herself lucky, shes getting a new rear light!

all fixed now and they have done a real good job of it aswell
